![]() The only provision is that you have to get your own copy of windows xp to install, and you then have to phone microsoft to generate a new key. Then in the future, you are then able to reupgrade to windows vista, at no cost. Supposedly this is if you have hardware or software that isn't compatible, and is supposedly in the microsoft terms and conditions. I have read on the internet, that it is possible if you buy a new PC with a Windows Vista license(business or Premium), that you have the right to be able to downgrade it to windows XP Professional at no cost.
